Albama Trip in Pictures

I have been meaning to write a post about my trip home for a week now but have not taken the time to do it. So I have decided to do a recap in pictures. We had a great time!!

JT on the way to Alabama

Gavin met us at the airport. So sweet watching them hold hands!

Long day of playing outside the hospital waiting on baby Seth to make his arrival.

John Thomas wanted to do everything his big cousin, Gavin, did.

Paw Paw helping John Thomas exercise

Playing on a hot Alabama day. These boys love being outside!!!

I took Gavin to a bike ride in Dothan with the mayor which he declared was a race.
Poor little Gavin was going as fast as he could around a curve and had a wreck. Nothing a day followed with Chuk E Cheese and swimming couldn't cure :)

Happy Mother's Day!
Love, Love this little man more than I ever thought was possible.

My favorite treat. Self serve frozen yogurt!

Sweet cousins

Baby Seth

I became an Aunt again on May 10, 2012! My sister Leigh Anne had a beautiful baby boy.

Welcome to the world, Seth Logan Davis!
My sister does not love this picture but I do! First time opening his eyes. So sweet!

Home from the hospital
He is such an easy baby! Content wherever you put him.

My huge eye opening moment - JT is not a baby anymore.

I am so thankful I was able to be there for the birth of my new nephew. My sisters and I are so close. It has been so special that Leigh Anne and Justin allowed Dianne and I in the delivery room for both Gavin and Seth. My sisters were also in the delivery room for John Thomas. I cherish our bond and love for each other. I am so proud of my sister. She is a great mom! I look forward to watching Seth grow and our boys playing together and making life long memories.
SO THANKFUL! We love you Seth!

Flying Pig Marathon

This marathon was a huge accomplishment for me and I am so proud of myself! Not only did have a good race but I also taught a 5:30am yogalates class Monday morning after a marathom on Sunday and a 6:30pm spin class! I also taught two classes today :) My body feels good. I am meeting Angie to run 6miles in the morning, hopefully it will be a good run!

Pigs everywhere!

The Flying Pig is a hilly course but I do believe training with a jogging stroller helped me a lot! Also when I ran on the treadmill I would keep my incline on 2% as much as possible and never going below 1%. It was a huge race! 31,000 people. My official time was 4:02:38. According to my Garmin a ran a total of 26.52 mile from having to weave in and out of all the people. When I hit 26.2 I was at 3:59:41. 9:09pace! I fininshed in the top 6% of females in my age group and in the top 26% overall.
My dad suprised us on Saturday night, driving from Alabama to watch me! A wonderful surprise that means so much to me! When I was wanting to slow down I would think my dad just drove 9 hours to watch me, keep going!
Also it is amazing how much breaking up the course up in parts helps me. The first 6.5 I was praying for my nephew and soon to be neice or nephew and before I knew it, it was time to move to the next person. The crowd support was amazing and it helps make the time go by also. I knew when I crossed each timing mat family and friends would be getting text alerts to know how I was doing and prayers would be going up for me. So I kept pushing along!
It was a great experience and I can not wait to do it again!

Running with 31,000 people!

Great posters!

Hot Day!
Best part of the race - the "Hog Washes" along the second half of the course. Life savers!!
